Reflection on Creating and Making
Upon reflection of the creating and making of my artwork, it became apparent that it is straightforward to develop different pieces of art. For example, the pieces that were created are all very different as a result of the resources and materials used. Through this experience, I learnt that it was beneficial to not always plan artwork. By creating artwork 'in the moment', I was able to freely apply the art elements and principles to create a piece that reflects my style of drawing. However, next time I will endeavor to use a greater number of resources. This includes different colours and pastels to create artworks that are more detailed. My favourite artwork was the ghost drawing revealing the secret message evidenced in Figure 2. I found that this task was engaging and allowed for freedom in my drawings.
